Some of these are adult day care, in which seniors gather for activities and programs at a facility during the day, or assisted living, in which seniors live in a community where services like cooking, laundry, housekeeping, medication reminders and other services are provided.
There are also a variety of other senior housing options available, including independent living, congregate housing, assisted living and skilled nursing care.
